At the “Hamburg Talks on Nature Conservation” organized by the Michael Otto Environmental Foundation, everything revolved around the future of the forest. We realized the hybrid event in livestream with live participants from the political center of Berlin as well as lively audience interaction both on site and in the chat.

Forests are habitats for animals and plants, provide wood resources and are essential for the water balance. Climate change and species loss are increasingly threatening their future viability.

Under the title “Forest Peace! A symposium on social dialogue on the future of our forest“, the question was explored as to how the necessary dispute about a sustainable approach to forests and woodland can be shaped in such a way that blockades are loosened and consensus building becomes possible.

Here also a few photographic impressions of the hybrid event!
