Energy efficiency is high on the European agenda. At present, there is only a plethora of different individual approaches that prevent a unified strategy for Europe. For this reason, the PLEEC project – “Planning for Energy Efficient Cities” – was launched.
The measures developed within the PLEEC project will open the way not only for participating cities but for all European cities to adopt a more holistic approach to energy-efficient urban development – contributing to our common goal of reducing energy consumption in cities.
AUSSENBORDER produced an explanatory film as an opener for the final conference which summarises the aims of the project and attunes it to the conference.
