What happens when two childhood dreams, fast cars and Lego, meet? That’s right! A true to scale and detailed Lego Technik Porsche, as well as his big brother, a real Porsche 911 GT3, in a Lego costume. And we got to play with both of them.
On behalf of Territory we produced another film for the Porsche 9:11 online magazine. This time a comparison between a Porsche 911 GT3 and the miniature replica from Lego Technik. Two days were spent on the road setting up our studio in the sales rooms of the Porsche Centre Leipzig. In the luggage: A 7.5 ton truck full of equipment and a motivated, well-rehearsed crew.
On site, we produced high-quality 4K shots of the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Lego Technik Porsche. We also used stop-motion technology to give the movie that certain drive. In postproduction we then gave him a special look with a dynamic cut and an informative motion design.
