The task

Multipercussionist Martin Grubinger now fills concert halls all over the world. Therefore, his concerts require a complex logistics – the many different instruments that Grubinger plays on his tour weigh more than three tons. DB Schenker supports the artist as a reliable logistics partner and ensures that the instruments are available on time in China or Japan as well. This sponsoring should be communicated in the most creative and musical way possible.


AUSSENBORDER conceived and produced with the exceptional artist a viral video for DB Schenker at the main logistics location of DB Schenker Austria in Salzburg. It shows how the artist enters the HUB at dawn, where after a brilliant opening he plays a piece in a special way.

The video has received a German Design Award 2016 in the category “Audiovisual” with a “Special Mention” Award; it has also received a Best of Corporate Publishing Silver Award 2015.
